Let TMC Custom Pools and Renovations help you achieve the backyard oasis of your dreams!
Your Pool Renovation Specialist / Project Manager from TMC Custom Pools and Renovations will meet with you at your home. Your Specialist / Project Manager will evaluate the condition of all the components of your pool and or spa. We will then discuss with you your wants and needs for a pool renovation and present all the options available. Many times your Remodel Specialist / Project Manager will have innovative and exciting ideas for your project.
Your Remodel Specialist / Project Manager will return with an in-depth and itemized price quote. Your Specialist will also bring samples of interior surface, tile, and decking options. This will include physical samples as well as photographs of our past projects that may inspire your renovation.
Once you and your Renovation Specialist / Project Manager have finalized your renovation plan, a contract is signed and the construction can begin.
This phase will vary in length depending on the scope of your pool renovation, but the first order of business is to drain the pool and remove the materials that are being replaced. This can include chipping out the old plaster and waterline tile, removing old decking, and removing old pool equipment.
After the demo is completed, any new plumbing that is being added such as a dedication suction line, new return lines, automatic water leveler and supply lines feeding a new water feature, are added. This is also the phase when any structural additions will be added. This can include new benches or seating areas in the pool, a new natural rock waterfall or sheer descent water feature, new decking or a depth conversion. New pool equipment such as a Pentair variable speed pump or new filter can be installed during this phase.
New waterline tile is installed at this phase. Any accent tiles, mosaic tiles, stacked stone, or flagstone spillways will also be installed during this phase. Deck coatings such as acrylic overlays will be installed during this phase as well.
The interior surface option that you chose during the design phase, whether it be mini pebble, plaster, 100 % quartz, Micro Fusion or one of the other many options, is installed. The interior surface is “shot” using a special pump and hoses and then it is hand finished by our craftsmen.
Once the pool is filled, your Remodel Specialist / Project Manager, who has guided your remodel the whole way, will schedule one of TMC’s experienced technicians to restart your pool’s mechanical equipment and add all the proper start up chemicals to your pool’s water. Your newly renovated pool is now ready to swim in!
